Yes we know, this post is way way way past due!.
The baby is keeping us busy. lol Hopefully it will not be much longer before we can get a few more posts out the door.

Jane

Well, not much new to report on Jane. She’s still sharing a cage with Bob, attempting to breed. She will get a few more months before we call it done for the season. Fingers crossed something happens soon!

Bob

We pulled Bob out to offer him a meal,so we figured this would be a good time to check his weight. So we weighed him and he weighed 2160 grams at the beginning of January. Not bad since he weighed 2058 at the beginning of the breeding season!

Fatgirl, our Hypo Ball Python.

The last time we weighed Fat Girl, in November, she had dropped weight down to 1438 grams, or 3 lbs 3 ounces. When we got her back on the scale in January, she weighed 1427 grams, 3 lbs 2 ounces. A loss, and a disappointment for all.

Little Man

Getting all the snakes back on the scale again was a nice return to normalcy around here at T and A! Little Man was the next to step on the scale and see how the new baby frenzy impacted his weight. In November, he weighed 1214 grams,or 2 lbs 11 ounces, a decline. He declined again for January, and weighed 1200 grams,or 2 lbs 10 ounces ! Hopefully, the feeding schedule returning will help him put some weight back on!

Mary never disappoints in the feeding department, and she’s awesome in the handling department as well. In November she weighed 2294 grams, or 5 lbs 1 ounce. For January, she weighed 2331 grams, or 5 lbs 2 ounces! Such a good girl to gain weight even when the feeding schedule was a bit crazy! 🙂

In January, Medusa was another one who made the most of the meals she got during the crazy baby time! She weighed 3868 grams, or 8 lbs 8 ounces in November. She came in at 3993 grams or 8 lbs 13 ounces! She’s moving right along and getting to be a big docile, nice handling snake!

Molly

Molly is hands down the smallest snake we currently have, and is attempting to out grow her nick name “Tiny”! For November she was 272 grams or 9.6 ounces, and we were a little concerned how the slow down in feeding might impact her. It didn’t seem to have any ill affects, as she weighed 316 grams, or 11.2 ounces in January! She’s growing at a great pace!

Norma

Norma, an older sister to Molly, also made the most of her food! She weighed 1488 grams or 3 lbs 4 ounces in November. When she got back on the scales in January, she weighed 1582 grams, or 3 lbs 8 ounces!

Pablo

Pablo being 1 of our first snakes, and our 2nd boa holds a special spot in our hearts! For November, he weighed 2855 grams or 6 lbs 5 ounces, we were sad to see that for January he weighed 2701 grams, or 6 lbs! Hopefully he will put some of that lost weight back on in the weeks to come!

Pablo wasn’t the only boa to lose a little weight over the break. For November, Pee Wee was 3229 grams or 7 lbs 2 ounces. When we weighed her in January, she weighed 3191 grams, or 7 pounds. Not a serious weight loss, but we’d like to see that weight come back quickly!

Stretch is, well, Stretch! haha She’s getting so long, it is kinda crazy! In November, she weighed 1265 grams, or 2 lbs 13 ounces. She didn’t let the food slack off get her down, that’s for sure. She not only managed to maintain her weight, she gained a little too! For January, she weighed 1337 grams, or 2 lbs 15 ounces!
