introduction!

Pablo, on a white background

Wellcome to the first post of T&A Exotics! The site will be worked on as we go, so please excuse any glitches.

T&A stands for Taylor and Amanda. we are a couple who have a passion for animals, especially the cold blooded variety! We got started with our first reptile, a ball python in 2013. Since then, we just can’t help but add more animals to our collection. We live in a small town in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. We are both visually impaired, but we don’t let that stop our love for our animals.

Feel free to read through our About Us page for more info.

Our expectations for the site.

for now this site will mainly be to educate people about how interesting reptiles are for all people, as well as help expose blind people to the possibilitys of keeping reptiles without sight. As well as document our journey keeping and trying to breed these exotic animals. Then, hopefully be a place for us to sell snakes once we are able to get these amazing animals to breed in captivity for us!

Topics we may cover?

The blog will sometimes talk about things that we face as blind individuals working with these animals. As well as Things you might find us talking about will range from general animal care, such as how we are currently keeping our animals, there feeding habbits, the animals growth and weight gains, and even more in depth topics like genetics of animals we currently are working with, and advanced topics like genetics.

We would like this site to not only be a place to read leisurely, but a place for people to come for basic information relative to reptiles, and also a resource for anyone who is, or knows someone with a visual impairment, and would like to get some perspective on keeping and caring for reptiles.
